Kinner Mahadev Kailash Yatra

Kinner Mahadev Kailash Yatra

History of Kinner Kailash

Kinner Kailash is considered the point where the gods reside. As per mythological belief, every winter Lord Shiva used to conduct a meeting of goddesses and gods here at Kinner Kailash.

A natural pond which is also known as Parvati Kund near Kinner Kailash peak is considered to be a creation of Goddess Parvati. It is also said that it is a meeting place for Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. For this reason, Ganesh Park or Kailash Darshan Park was earlier called Ashiqui Park. The Yatra takes place every year during the time of August by devotees of Lord Shiva.
