This place is one of the most useful places in the summer and rainy season for the people of Pinswar Village.

About location:

Jiwala trek is situated in Pinswar village, Tehri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand and is about 9,000 feet above sea level. It is located at a distance of about 205 km from the capital Dehradun. History & recent tales:

Jiwala trek is a place for the Pinswar villagers to live in summer and rain, or to keep animals. The villagers of Pinswar village have a relationship with the villagers of Bhatwadi village in Uttarkashi district for centuries. So the villagers go directly to Bhatwadi village crossing Kush Kalyan Bugyal via Jiwala. Villagers from here also travel to Sahastratal to worship Bhole. These people have settled in this village for centuries, no road was ever provided by the government nor any facility.

Jiwala Trek area has been away from the eyes of all the lovers who love nature. Travelers come here for long time to visit and spend their holidays and enjoy the beauty of this village in the lap of nature. Today, the road up to the village of Pinswar has been constructed. Jiwala Trek is only 21 kilometers away from Bhoodhakedar village, but there is so much height to drive. You can also come here with your car or train fare. Jiwala is and will remain a very exciting and fascinating place for all travelers.
